Naphtha plays a signifi cant role in the petrochemical industry as it serves as a valuable feedstock for the production of va rious petrochemicals. It is a light hydrocarbon fraction derived from crude oil refi ning and consists of a mixture of aliphatic, cycloaliphatic, and aromatic hydrocarbons
